Rome

Q. Why is Italian film music just so good ?

A. Ennio Morriconi

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST  (Sergio Leone)

This is such an awsome scene (reportedly directed to fit the music)
the uplifting moment when we share Jills view of a burgeoning town , and can see  her own and Americas  future.
This is of course the best film ever made (screw Kane), the story was by Leone ,Bernardo Bertolucci and Dario Argento for crying out loud, and it manages to mix it all;  action, horror, love, awe, a bit of low comedy and most of all hope.

p.s. In the late 70`s , The Earl of Lonsdale pub in Notting Hill had hippies, bikers, punks and dreads and a great jukebox ; top song......
